HOW TO GET THERE

By Bike

Jamrock Festival is easy to reach from Amsterdam by bike, it will take you roughly 20 minutes leaving from Westerpark. Use the free ferryboat (hempont) next to the festival site. The ferryboat will be active throughout the whole of the day and night.

By Public Transportation

From train station Zaandam you can use the FREE Jamrock shuttle bus service to the festival site and back every few minutes (available from 14:00 pm – 23:00 pm). The shuttle bus will bring you in 10 minutes to the festival entrance. This Shuttlebus is free.

By car

We have a large parking space close to the event site. Parking tickets are 10 euros and can be purchased at the parkinglot gate in cash.

The address for navigation is, Symon Spiersweg, Zaandam. Please follow the signs if you’re near the terrain.

Route description

From: Amsterdam

  •                Follow the A10 in direction of Zaanstad (A8).
  •                Leave the highway at the exit Oostzaan/ Zaandam Zuid and follow the direction of Zuiderhout
  •                Turn right by the traffic lights
  •                Follow Zaandam/Zuiderhout
  •                After the Joop van Uyl bridge turn left
  •                After 300 meter turn right and follow the signs.

From Alkmaar / Purmerend

– Follow the A8 in direction of Zaandam-Zuid

  •                Leave the highway at the exit Oostzaan/ Zaandam Zuid and follow the direction of Zuiderhout
  •                Turn right by the traffic lights
  •                Follow the direction Zaandam/Zuiderhout
  •                After the Joop van Uyl bridge turn left
  •                After 300 meter turn right and follow the signs.
SHUTTLEBUS FROM SLOTERDIJK

From train station Amsterdam Sloterdijk you can use the Jamrock shuttle bus service to the festival site and back every few minutes (available from 12:30 pm – 23:00 pm). The shuttle bus will bring you to the festival entrance in less than 10 minutes. The price for a return is only €5! Look for the signs @ the station!

PARKING

We have  parking space close to the event site. Parking tickets are 10 euros and can be purchased at the parkinglot gate in cash only.

We do have a free shuttlebus running between Zaandam trainstation  and the festival site.

ATM & TOKENS

You need special coins at the festival. These coins are for sale at different points across the festival area. You can pay cash, debit and credit card, when you buy your tokens.

LOCKERS

Lockers are available at the entrance for 5 euros and 5 euros deposit. You can easily and safely store your belonging while enjoying your day.

There is no official dress code, but we would appreciate it if you put a little work into your outfit, as this will only contribute to all the party fun!

FOOD & DRINKS

We’ll have enough food vendors that sell a variety of food and drinks. You are not allowed to bring your own food and drinks to Jamrock festival.

DRUGS

Jamrock Festival upholds a zero tolerance drugs policy when it comes to hard drugs. Soft drugs (marihuana) are allowed up to 2 grams per person.

MEDICATION

If you have to bring your pre-scripted medicine to the festival, make sure you have a note/prescription from the doctor stating the use and the name of the prescription holder since the security may ask to see a valid form of proof. This will enable us to avoid any unnecessary discussions and misunderstandings.

CAMERA'S

You will be allowed to bring non-professional cameraphones into the event. You must obtain permission to bring a professional camera into the event. (please get in touch with info@jamrockxxl.com.transurl.nl)

RE-ENTRY

Jamrock Festival operates a strict no re-entry policy.
